Gigabyte is preparing the launch of dual-SIM smartphone based on Android 2.2 Froyo called GSmart Rola. This handset will be launched in early 2011 with the price of 175 Euros (about 2.5 million rupiah)
GSmart Rola use resistive touch screen 3.2 inch WQVGA, 528MHz processor, 256MB RAM, 512MB ROM, 3MP camera fixed focus and microSD slot. Also provided a variety of connectivity options like Wi-Fi, quadband GSM, 3G HSDPA, GPS with aGPS support and a digital compass, Bluetooth to FM radio.
It is estimated that 3G connectivity will only be available in just one SIM card. Gigabyte GSmart Rola will be launched in the first quarter of 2011 in certain areas. Not yet known whether this handset will stop in Indonesia.
