Australia squad at the 2011 Asian Cup

Asian Cup 2011. Australia coach, Holger Osieck, on Tuesday announced the 23 names-man squad for Asian Cup 2011. Where two new players on the list that is Melbourne Victory striker Robbie Kruse. Coach Holger Osieck squad containing 19 players who play in foreign countries there are 12 players who never join the competition at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. 
 
Cruse (22) into the national team to replace injured striker Josh Kennedy, he has scored 10 goals in 15 matches with Victory. He is one of four players coming from the A-League with the Brisbane Roar player Matt McKay, Jason Culina from Gold Coast United and Jade North from Wellington. 
 
Another player who joined other national team players Tim Cahill, Harry Kewell, Mark Schwarzer, Lucas Neill and captain Sasa Ognenovski, who is also Asia's best player this year. 
 
Sasa make his debut for Australia at last month's friendly against Egypt and this season he has led the Korean club Seongnam Ilhwa Asian Champions League title. AEK Athens striker Nathan Burns is also included in the squad. 
 
Australia will open its first match against India on January 10, at Al Sadd stadium, where they are a group with South Korea and Bahrain.
