Panasonic says that it wants to be involved in the cellular market by selling products in Japan from 2011 smartphone and the entire world in 2012. This smartphone will use the Android OS and will compete with products that are well known today as the iPhone or the Samsung Galaxy S.
One of Japan's biggest electronics companies admitted that their recent entry in the smartphone market, but will try to make different products that will have the ability to connect with other Panasonic products. Osamu Waki, Panasonic representatives said that they were incorrectly predicted smartphone penetration speed into the Japanese market and they will try to chase by quickly switching to Android.
Panasonic targets to sell 15 million units of mobile phones worldwide in 2015, or about three times the number of its mobile phone sales in Japan reached approximately 5.5 million units. Panasonic's own product barely heard outside Japan because the Panasonic does not sell mobile phones outside Jpang since 2006.
