As we all know Microsoft designed the Windows Phone 7 with many restrictions such as can not copy and paste, do not have expansion slots to not support tethering which makes the handset as a modem.
However, it turns out this tethering function could have been activated again in Windows 7 Phone, at least on the Samsung Omnia handset 7 and Focus. According HDBlog.it and Pocketnow, to enable tethering feature users simply enter the service mode and select the options that are available tethering. After that users can follow the further steps that allow the handset to function more than the standard Windows Phone 7.
Until now, the new handset from Samsung which had dioprek this way. Not yet known whether other Windows 7 Phone handsets will be able to use this feature. For activation instructions tethering on the Samsung Omnia 7 can be seen in HDBlog.it while for the activation of tethering Samsung Focus can be listened to in PocketNow.
