Nikon D7000 Camera with 16.2 Megapixel Resolution

Nikon DX recently announced (APS-C) sensor cameras, marking the beginning of the escalation of the brand beyond the level of 12.3 MP resolution that marks the upper limit of the last generation of Nikon.  

D3100 comes with a 14 MP first, then about a month later announced D7000 with 16.2MP. things more important than increasing the resolution in D7000 is merging the latest Nikon EXPEED processing system 2, the new matrix of RGB color sensor, 3D 2016 pixels, auto focus and a new system of 39 points. 

 

In addition to the new processing system, the AF and metering system matrix, D7000 also has a continuous shooting 6 frames per level, and 1080p HD video capabilities with auto focus. The camera is packaged in a kit with 18-105mm zoom lens (VR) is stabilized. 

 

Speaking of lenses, lens compatibility and functionality similar to Nikon D7000 pro-body, which includes a catalog of more than 60 lenses along with F-mount Nikkor glass. This camera also has a storage of 4 GB SD card. D7000 can produce images with good quality as expected from the quality of DSLR cameras, and can make taking pictures manually or by setting the time.

Waiting for the World Cup Broadcast Technology FTV

Technology Free-viewpoint television (FTV) is a continuation of the technological image of 3 Dimensional (3D). Through this technology, viewers can not only enjoy the images that are so natural, but also can choose from which side of the image will be seen.  

FTV Wonderin able to represent the image? Masayuki Tanimoto, professor from Nagoya University, Japan, who developed this technology ambition to demonstrate the ability to record broadcast television movie in prestigious sports, the World Cup. 

"For the record, I will install 400 cameras around the stadium. Everything will record the movement of footballers from every perspective," said Tanimoto FTV presentation about the technology at the International Workshop on Digital Imaging (IWAIT), 2011, Saturday (08/01/2011 .) 

With all that, he continued, watching World Cup matches on television will be different. 

"Fans can see the ball ball player movement from the side, front, rear. 360 degrees horizontal," he said.

According to him, this broadcast will be able to give the public of the greatness of FTV. He added that the use of the FTV will be a breakthrough in the sports program on television for sports broadcasting will become more interactive. 

"No need to replay to repeat a particular moment because the audience are given the freedom to choose the point of view in seeing," said Tanimoto. 

Problem funds to apply this technology, Tanimoto admit very large. FTV is a big project. 

"We have to hold so many cameras. It also requires good data processing," said Tanimoto. 

Therefore, the government and industry need to be invited to cooperate. 

Then, when broadcasting the World Cup like this can be enjoyed? 

"Originally we wanted to make it happen at the World Cup 2022 in Japan. Unfortunately, in the World Cup has been decided to be held in Qatar so that we can not do it," he replied. 

But, Tanimoto admitted to not despair. In the meantime, he will do it in some other sports cabanga. 

"We started first with a sumo or other sports. Sumo takes place in a narrow area, so do it also would be easier and cheaper," he said. 

For the World Cup event, we still have to be patient waiting for it. Perhaps, the embodiment of this technology will be a surprise if the World Cup held in Japan later.

Apple Launches the Mac App Store

After a long awaited by Mac users, Apple finally launched the Mac App Store, a store specialized Mac applications. This shop is a desktop version of the App Store which comes first in the iPod, iPhone, or iPhone.
